Three generations strong.  H.R. Dils was founded in 1969 by Herbert Roy Dils and his wife Barbara Dils.  Herb first launched a landscaping company which eventually evolved into sales and service of the lawn and garden  business. This small “mom and pop shop” not only supplied parts, they provided service and repair for lawn and snow equipment.  Their biggest line in the 1980’s was Bolens.  

Herb always wanted to keep the business small and intimate, he believed in one on one service and knowing your customer by name. Relationships with our customers are a priority. Unfortunately, in the early 2000's Herb developed some health issues.  Herb could no longer manage and give that personal attention he felt his customers deserved.   Around 2011 his youngest son and current owner, Kevin Dils, took over operations. Kevin moved the business to its current location on 5107 Southwestern Blvd in Hamburg, NY.  He is proud to say it has grown by leaps and bounds.  Dad is watching over and is very proud.  H.R. Dils currently carries top manufacturers such as: Toro, Cub Cadet, Scag, Wright, Stihl and Echo. H.R. Dils will service most all brands in the outdoor power equipment field. H.R. Dils Sales & Service has served Hamburg and the Southtown communities of New York for over 50 years and plans on continuing the family tradition.
